This is Izzaks blog, he is 12 years old and wanted his own.

Hi! My name is Terri I am married to Kelly and have 4 kids. Izzak,17 has several learning disablities including Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and others. Don't let any of that give you the wrong idea though he is a great kid and very social. He thinks he's all grown up of course, God help us all. Joshua,15 is my preemie was born at 32 weeks he has ADHD and drives all of us crazy. He also has sleep issues.He is a great kid with lots of energy frequently he will bend over backwards to make his sisters especially happy. Currently doesn't think school is an important thing. McKenzie is our newest teenager generally has a different hair color whenever the mood strikes. Currently it's fuschia (I know I spelled it wrong but I'm being lazy). She is 13 going on 21 and has her very own sense of style. Loves skulls hot pink and black, lol. Madison is the baby of the family and now 11, she's an interesting kid let's just say that lol. She is extremely independant and opinionated. She is not shy and will say what she thinks right from the start. At the moment I am home schooling 3 of them they are in 11th, 9th, 7th and 5th grades this year. Joshua is the only one in school full time.

Izzak - now is your time to help out Mom and be the "Dad" for a few months...you will do great!

I know this is going to be really hard on your whole family, but the time will pass and soon you will all be together again on a brand new adventure in Alaska! and I agree with Amy- you get to be the man of the house while your dad is gone. your Mom is going to need a lot of help and I know she will depend on you.

Hey Izzak, I know life will be a little bit more difficult over the next few months but just think of all the fun you will have when you reach Alaska.
You must try really hard to be brave and strong and to help your mum, brother and sisters.

I do feel for your Izzak and remember it will be very hard for your Dad too!! You are going to have to be the 'Man of the house' now and to help your mum and look after your younger brother and sisters too and I know you luv them all.
Izzak, believe me, the time will go so very fast and you will all be together very very soon!!

You are doing a great job on your blog!! I especially love the picture of your dog.
I know you're feeling bad about your dad's trip... when I was a kid my dad traveled all the time too, but I always looked forward to hearing about all the neat places he went when he came back. Your Dad will have some great stories to share with you, I am sure.
For now, you just try to be brave and be a big help to your Mom so your Dad won't have to worry about you guys while he's gone, OK? You can do it!!!
Izzak- you are a tough guy. I know you will mis you dad alot, but you will soon be together. Summer is almost here, and you will have so much fun playing with your brother and sister!! Enjoy the rest of your time, and prepare yourself for a fun adventure!!

i've been away from the computer for a while, so i have to go back and read your posts before this one. it seens your father is going to alaska, and i know you will miss him greatly. it won't be long before you'll all be re-united again. you can write little short stories about what you and your family are doing, and share them with him when you are all together again. your dad would love that. you'll do just fine until then.

I hope things are going ok with your dad gone. He is now safely there, and you can all not worry about his trip anymore.
Be helpful to your mom, because she misses him too, ok? This will be a difficult time for all of you, but you will be strong together and become a very close family! Give the whole family a hug - we are thinking of you!
I'm glad your Dad got here safely, here's hoping you'll be with him soon and that you still have a good summer.

i'm glad you enjoyed your 4th of july of swimming and barbecuing and fireworks with your family. i loved your pictures your mom posted on her site.
it won't be much longer before you'll be re-uniting with your dad. i know you'll be glad to see him, and he will be very glad to see you too.
